On
April 6, 1970, Robert Tall began his sales career representing
Rodgers in southern California. At that time, the dealership was
in Burbank. In 1974, Rodgers moved to Torrance where Tall created
and headed the Division of Institutional Sales for the world’s
largest piano and organ dealership. In 1984, he formed his own
company, Robert Tall & Associates, a Glendale-based company
that became the California representatives for Rodgers Pipe Organ
Division. In 1987, RTA was incorporated and moved to its present
location in San Dimas. |

and Psychology. He has held important positions in churches and
universities and continues his performance career as a concert
organist, recording artist and clinician.
For twelve years he served as Principal Organist and Featured
Artist at the famed Hollywood Bowl Easter Sunrise Services and
now serves on the Board of Directors for that prestigious group.
He is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles
Bach Society.
He is an active member of the American Guild of Organists, presently
a member of the Los Angeles Chapter Executive Board of Directors.
Having served in various positions, including Dean, Dr. Tall was
the Convention Coordinator for the Los Angeles AGO National Convention,
July 4-9, 2004.
Dr. Tall is also an active recitalist and clinician. Among many
honors, he was one of the nine organists invite to perform in the
Virgil Fox Memorial recital at the famed Riverside Church in New
York City, October 8, 2000. The event was recorded by Gothic Records,
which remains to date one of the best selling CDs that company
has ever produced.
Residing in Glendale, California, Robert devotes most of his time
to his company and his music. Robert Tall & Associates, Inc.
is one of the world’s leading distributors of classical organs.
For diversion, he enjoys scuba diving and bodybuilding. He continues
to compete in his age class for California State Championships as
member of the National Physique Committee.
As Director of Marketing and Sales, Dr. Tall oversees the efforts of a large number of sales representatives in all areas of the territories, who work with him to introduce Rodgers and Roland instruments to the public.
