Maestro Hector Olivera taught the opening season class of the Robert Tall & Associates, Inc., Division of Continuing Education Saturday, September 13, 2008. The class was titled, "An In-Depth Study of the Baroque Harpsichord." It featured the new Roland C-30 Digital Harpsichord, an instrument of visual and tonal beauty. The class of more than 50 students was enthralled by the Maestro's presentation and thrilled with the new instrument. In usual form, Maestro Olivera was prepared with PowerPoint presentations on our plasma screen and lecture about the history of the harpsichord as he demonstrated the sounds and capabilities of the new Roland C-30. The last half of the class was a mini-concert, which was spectacular and well received by the students.
